Kamui Kobayashi claimed pole position for the final round of the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship at the BAPCO Energies 8 Hours of Bahrain.
The #7 Toyota Gazoo Racing driver delivered a fastest lap of 1m46.826s to head the sister Toyota GR010 Hybrid Hypercar driven by Brendon Hartley.
In the LMGT3 category pole position went to the #78 Akkodis ASP Lexus entry driven in the Hyperpole session by Finn Gehrsitz. He claimed a peak lap of 2m01.661s to head the #60 Iron Lynx Mercedes driven by Lorcan Hanafin who was just 0.326s adrift of the Lexus.
