BMW claimed its first win in the top-tier of international endurance racing for 27 years at Spa-Francorchamps today, as the Bavarian brand celebrated a breakthrough one-two success in the FIA World Endurance Championship on Team WRT’s home soil.
After coming within half-an-hour of victory on its FIA World Endurance Championship debut at Imola last month, Garage 59 raced from 15th on the grid to the top step of the podium with its #10 McLaren at Spa-Francorchamps today.
