24/08/2013

After the long summer break, fans of endurance racing will be able to follow the fourth round of the 2013 FIA World Endurance Championship – the 6 Hours of Sao Paulo – through various media.  After its successful debut at Interlagos last year, the South American round of the increasingly popular series will take place on Sunday, 1st September from 12 noon until 18:00h local time (17:00-23:00h CET).

The Brazilian Sport TV 3 channel will broadcast the whole race LIVE to a potential viewership of 37 million homes, while Fox LATAM will air a highlights show to 43 countries (excluding Brazil).

Eurosport Inter and Eurosport 2 will not only broadcast Europe-wide coverage live but also show a delayed 26 minute highlights show, while Motors TV in Europe will air the race live and direct in its entirety.  Broadcast start times are yet to be announced.  Eurosport Asia/Pacific has the same live/delayed highlights package on offer.

Several European countries such as Belgium (live streaming link via YouTube on RTBF), Czech Republic and Slovakia (Sport 5), Portugal (Sport TV) and Spain (Canal + Deportes and Sportmania) are also showing the race live as well as subsequent highlight shows.

Fans from other countries will be able to follow the whole race direct from the FIA World Endurance Championship website (www.fiawec.com) and on the ACO’s site (www.lemans-tv.com), in addition to English-language radio commentary available via www.radiolemans.com.
